Netflix Recommendation: 13 Sins
What this movie is about: Elliot is your everyday pushover who is financially supporting his pregnant girlfriend, mentally challenged brother, and abusive father. After he gets fired from his salesman job, he accepts an offer to participate in a game involving 13 increasingly disturbing and criminal challenges to win six million dollars.
Why you should watch: I’m usually never a fan of horror thriller movies, but this one kept me interested from beginning to end. The most compelling part of the film is just wondering how insane or horrifying the next challenge will be and if he’ll actually go through with it. If you’re like me and aren’t into these types of movies, there is enough action and plot twists in 13 sins to keep even the most casual horror movie watcher entertained.
